Fun in the Finger Lakes
The Finger Lakes region is a beautiful
area located in western/central New York in the area between Rochester,
Syracuse, and Corning/Elmira. The region has over 10 glacially formed
lakes primarily linear in shape running north to south, influencing the
name "Finger" Lakes. It is well-known for its wineries and outdoor
activities such as camping, boating, hiking and more.
This historic area offers a wide variety
of attractions and events for people of all ages. We at Finger Lakes
Gourmet wanted to share some of our favorite sights and activities the
Finger Lakes region has to offer. Below is a listing of links to web
sites with guides and more information. Come for the weekend or stay for
the week - you won't run out of things to do!
